Day 1. Otopeni – Brașov – Poiana Brasov ( 160 km)

Our Transylvania Tour will start with pick-up from Otopeni Airport from our english speaking guide. We will travel to Brasov, one of the biggest cities in the Transylvania region. In Brasov we will see: the old town, Council  Square, Ortodox Hidden Church, Rope Street, the defensive fortifications and the heart of the city, the Black Church.

Accommodation follows in a 3 stars hotel in the beautiful mountains resort Poiana Brasov, only 16 km away from the city.


Day 2. Fortified churches, Bran Castle and Rasnov ( 100 km)

In the first part of the day we will visit the impressive fortified churches in the southern part of Transylvania: Prejmer and Harman churches stand next to one another and are unique due to their fortification systems and defensive of the villagers.

On we go to the most famous castle in Transylvania, the Dracula Castle in Bran village. Here we will be fascinated by the history, legends and local beliefs!

Right next to Bran, the marvelous citdel of Rasnov stands. We are going to enter here as well and enjoy the view from the top of the hill.

Day 3. Poiana Brasov – Sighisoara – Viscri ( 170 km)

Next on our Transylvania Tour we will head towards one of the most marvelous citadel-cities in Romania.

Sighisoara is the last still inhabited medieval citadel in east Europe. Here we visit the medieval citadel with it’s clock tower, famous Dracula House and the Church on the hill.

In the second part of the day we will settle in Visci village, one of the most beautiful and authentic villages on our Transylvania Tour. Here we will discover the life and culture of local people,  taste their foods, work with them and enjoy life with them!


Day 4. Viscri carriage ride and local experience 

Today we will enjoy the best of local life!

We will start the day with a carriage ride on the Prince’s Road between the villages and visit Viscri fortified church, a small but beautiful church.

Next, a visit by the hammer man of the village will allow us to observe the traditional crafts so well preserved in this regions.

Day 5. Tg Mures – Jidvei – Medias ( 175 km)

In the first part of the day, after breakfast,we will visit the beautiful city Targu Mures, the only city in Romania with a maghiar minority of almost 50%. Here we will see great constructions such as: Culture Palace, Prefecture Palace and visit the biggest ortodox Cathedral in Romania.

After this we go on towards Jidvei vineyard. Here we will discover a beautiful castle, now wine cellar, and one important attraction in the region. Here we will taste some great local wines and learn about the process of wine production.

We follow the road towards the small town of Medias, once a important capital, for accommodation in the town.


Day 6. Medias – Sibiu – Fagaras – Sinaia ( 240 km)

After breakfast in the hotel we head towards Sibiu city, very well-known in Romania for beeing named european capital of culture in 2007. Here we will discover the city on a guided tour in the old town: The big and small ring and Huet Ring, The liars bridge, evanghelic chrch and visit the catholic church.

From here we go on through the citadel town of Fagaras at the foot of the mountains.

In the afternoon we arrive in the royal mountain resort Sinaia on Prahova Valley. Here we stay in a central hotel in the resort.


Day 7. Sinaia – Bucuresti (150 km)

Today we visit the most impressive attractions on Prahova Valley!

Our first stop will be by the royal castle of Peles, built for the first romanian royal couple. Than we visit the monk monastery Sinaia, the one who gave the name of the resort in the past.

On we go in the capital of Romania – Bucharest, also the biggest city in Romania and with the biggest population.

In Bucharest we will see: Arc de Triumph, Revolution Square with all important buildings, Victoria Street, old Town, Union Square, University Square and we enter  the Patriarhat Church and Village Museum.

Accommodation follows in a 3 stars hotel near the city-center.


Day 8. Transfer to the airport

Today the group will arrive at Otopeni Airport and depart from Romania.
