Day 1

We will fist start this tour with pick up from Sofia Airport ( or it can start at the border of Bulgaria)

Visit Sofia city and walking tour in the Old Town and visit the astonishing Boiana Church, one of the oldest in Bulgaria and an UNESCO World Heritage. Accommodation follows in Sofia city

Day 2

After breakfast, we depart towards the south of Bulgaria and arrive in the city of Plovdiv. Visit Plovdiv old town and discover the many houses built in Bulgarian Renaisance style and very well preserved till today. We will also see the roman ruins in the Old City.

Day 3

Today we will head towards the north of Bulgaria. We will visit the beautiful Monastery Shipka at the feet of Balkan Mountains. After this we cross the Mountains and arrive in Veliko Tarnovo, one of the most astonishing cities in Bulgaria. Here we will visit Tsarevets fortress and the Old Town of the city.

Later today we arrive in Romania and overnight in the capital city Bucharest

Day 4

Today we will visit the capital city. In Bucharest we will see: Arc de Triumph, Revolution Square with all important buildings, Victoria Street, old Town, Union Square, University Square and we enter the Patriarhat Church and Village Museum.

Next we drive through the Carpathian Mounatins and arrive in Brasov. Visit Brasov Old Town and the Black Church

Overnight in Brasov city

Day 5

Today we see the most famous castle in Transylvania, the Dracula Castle in Bran village. Here we will be fascinated by the history, legends and local beliefs!

Right next to Bran, the marvelous citdel of Rasnov stands. We are going to enter here as well and enjoy the view from the top of the hill. Optionally we can visit today the Bear Sanctuary in Zanrnesti.

Return to Brasov and overnight in the same hotel

Day 6

Today we return too Bucharest with a few more visits on the way.

We enter the mountain region to discover a valley that was deeply loved by the romanian royal family convincing them to settled a beautiful summer residence in Sinaia. Here we will visit the marvelous Peles Castle and the enchanting Sinaia Monastery, and admire the fairy-tale Pelisor Castle

Later we arrive back in Bucharest and accommodation follows in the city.

Free morning in Bucharest. Drop off at the airport for departure
