Day 1. Bucharest – Brasov
Today we will head towards Prahova Valley and stop in the city of Sinaia. a place the royal family loved so much, they settled their summer residence here. Peles Castle is probably the most beautiful castle in the entire country. We will visit here the castle and the Sinaia Monastery, also named the Carpathian Cathedral.
Next we will arrive in Bran city and visit here the famous Dracula Castle. Numerous souvenirs shops surround the castle and also shops with local products. A well-deserved lunch break will be held here.
Next we will visit the saxon city Brasov, only 30 minutes away. This is the perfect example of saxon medieval settlement in Transylvania and it is one of the 7 famous saxon cities that gave the name of this region. We will see here the old town, the defensive fortifications and the heart of the city, the Black Church.

Day 2. Brasov – Gura Humorului
Today we will enter the historical region of Moldova, distinctive for the people’s strong beliefs and for its unique architecture.
Bicaz Canyon is a passageway through the mountains between Transylvania and Moldova regions, and it is also one of the most impressive landscapes in Romania. We will stop here by the famous Red Lake.
Our first stop in the region of Moldova will be in the country of Neamt, by the beautiful Neamt Monastery a unique mixture between gothic architectural style and byzantine paintings.
We will end the day in the northern extreme of this region, in the charming town of Gura Humorului.
Day 3. Bucovina Monasteries
Today will be dedicated to the religious culture in Bucovina, the northern Moldovian region.
We will discover here the famous painted monasteries and learn about their unique architecture and intriguing history. The local nuns will be the ones to guide us through the monasteries!
In the morning we will visit Moldovita and Sucevita monasteries, two most beautiful painted monasteries and UNESCO sites.
While we are here we will also visit Marginea Ceramic Pottery, where the black ceramic is made by traditional centuries-old methods. We will also see the beautiful Painted Egg museum of Bucovina, the most complete and interesting such museum.
Before going back to our hotel we will also visit Voronet monastery, the most impressive painted monastery of Bucovina.
Day 4. Gura Humorului – Sighisoara
Today we will enter the spectacular region of Transylvania, also known as Wild Carpathia!
What better sight could welcome us in this mysterious region than the Castle of frightening Count Dracula? We will make a short stop here and learn more about Dracula’s legend and his connection to this place.
Our next stop will be in the city of Bistrita, a former saxon city that still houses impressive renaissance buildings as well as the tallest evangelic church in the country.
Than we continue our journey towards the heart of Transylvania and reach our peak destination for today, Sighisoara Citadel. This is the last citadel in Romania still to be inhabited and a fairy-tale place with wonderful architecture and filled with legends.

Day 5. Sighisoara – Turda – Medias – Sighisoara
In the morning we will head towards the famous Biertan fortified church, a remarkable saxon stronghold and the biggest fortified church in Romania.
Our next goal is the massive Salt Mine of Turda, in the heart of Transylvania. This is a splendid subterranean museum and recreation center with basketball hoops, a mini-golf course, Ferris wheel, and even an underground lake you can go boating on.
In the afternoon we will arrive back in Sighisoara. Free afternoon and accommodation in the same hotel.
Day 6. Sighisoara – Alba Iulia – Hunedoara – Sibiu
In the morning we will visit the breath-taking Alba Iulia Citadel, a city and stronghold built in a unique star-form. Alba Iulia is the historical place where all romanian regions where united in the beginnings of the last century.
After lunch we will have the chance to learn about one of the most beautiful castles in Romania, the Hunyad Castle in Hunedoara, a gothic construction with a impressive history.
In the afternoon we will arrive in Sibiu, a beautiful city designated European Capital of Culture in 2007.
After a short rest in our central-located hotel, we will proceed on a journey through the old town and discover Romania’s biggest city square, the various architecture styles, orthodox and evangelic churches and old defensive walls and towers.

Day 7. Sibiu – Arges – Bucharest
Today is our last day of trip and we want to make the best of it!
After breakfast we will set foot on Olt Valley, a marvelous place with most impressive landscape. We will enjoy a stop here by Cozia Monastery, a beautiful sample of authentic religious architecture in our country.
Once we enter Arges Country, on the other side of the mountains, we will pause again to discover a splendid work of art representative for the region: Curtea de Arges Monastery, maybe the most beautiful in our country, with a unique mix of architecture styles and of great historical value.

Day 8. Bucharest
Today we will enjoy a guided tour of the romanain capital and biggest city Bucharest. We will see here the Revolution Square, walk arround the Old Town, see the imposing Parliament Palace and the authentic Village Museum. After this, we will drive you to the airport and say goodbye at the end of a great trip together!

In order to benefit from a reduced price in the case of pensioners, the discount is made only with the presentation of the pension coupon.
- In the context of the pandemic, if the local authorities decide to cancel or modify the program / tourist attractions in the visited cities, the tour package of the travel agency will still be carried out, with the visits mentioned in the program, but without the objectives that are cancelled;
- In the context of the pandemic, if travel conditions change and the country of destination imposes the obligation to carry out RT PCR / Antigen tests for viruses (SARS COV 2, or any other type of virus) or the obligation to present proof of vaccination, the latter they fall under the responsibility of the tourist and do not oblige the travel agency to any compensation or free cancellation of the reservation;
