Wine tasting Tour from Bucharest
Your tour starts at 8:00 a.m. with a private pick-up from your hotel.
From here you will head towards Ploiesti, 82 km North from the Capital. This is where the Wine Route actually begins.
Moment 1 – Bellu Manor
Your tour starts with your top destination: Urlati town. Here you can find a remarkable old manor. Bellu Manor was built at the half of the XIX century in a typical Romanian architectural style.
Moment 2 – Wine tasting
Next stop will be in a village on the Wine Route, for a guided tour through a local Winery and Wine Cellar. You will visit the cellar and taste 6 of the best wines made here. Moment 3 – Lunch
Next we will drive to a traditional manor in the area. You will se a beautifully preserved construction, placed in a wonderful location. Here you will enjoy a traditional meal made locally. All is included in the price for our Wine tasting tour from Bucharest.
On your way back home, you will have the opportunity to discuss your experience and share opinions. Tour ends with drop-off at your hotel in Bucharest.

We had a great day visiting the two wineries in the Prahova valley despite the weather! Alina was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed touring around the Lacerta winery and got to see how the wine is made first hand in a very modern way. We tasted some very good wines and you guide at Lacreta was really helpful. Lunch at Urlateanu Manor was delicious and we experienced some good traditional Romanian dishes as well as taste some excellent wines during the meal. Thank you Auhero Travel for a great day!

Fabulous Tour!
I did the all day wine tour and it was brilliant! The guide Alina and the driver were both knowledgeable and so friendly. The wines were superb and so reasonably priced. They even accommodated us for unscheduled photos stops! Great quality and value.

A group of friends and I recently took the full day wine tour. It was a highlight of our time in Romania.
I appreciate the small group size so that the tour really feels personalized.
I also like that the tours takes place outside of the city- you visit small villages. It was nice to see how people live in the small villages. The driver was also really great about stopping for us to take photos.
The first stop was at a wine museum which was really interesting and the property contained some interesting antiques which helped explain the history of the region.
Next we tasted two vineyards and tried more wines than I remember! We tasted wines straight from the barrels at different points in the aging process and then we had wine tastings.
The first vineyard (my favorite) had small snacks for us to go along w/the wine. The second vineyard prepared a traditional lunch for us.
