Danube Delta Tour from Bucharest

Day 1. Arriving in the Delta

Tour starts in the morning at 08:00 a.m. with private pick-up from your hotel.

Today we head towards Dobrogea Region and cross the sparkling Danube on our way.

Moment 1 – Danube Delta Museum

We will start our Danube Delta discovery by visiting the Delta Museum in Tulcea city. This is the best place to learn about Delta history and formation, birds and fish species, and even human lifestyle in the delta villages. As a Bonus the museum features a great aquarium where you can see all the most important fishes that live in the Danube!

Moment 2 – Boat tour

We arrive in Murighiol village in Danube Delta and start our Boat Excursion from here. We will see numerous wild birds, luxurious vegetation and sparkling lakes inside the Delta. This is of course a highlight on our Danube Delta Tour from Bucharest.

At the end of a road that exceeds 2,860 km by collecting the waters of an impressive river basin whose surface covers more than 8% of Europe’s surface, the Danube, the second largest river of the old continent builds upon its encounter with the Black Sea, well over 10,000 years, one of the most beautiful deltas in Europe and even in the world, also known as one of the planet’s great wetlands. Day 2. Dobrogea Region 

In the morning after breakfast we will head towards the southern part of Dobrogea, and reach Constanta City.

Moment 1 – Constanta city

Here we will visit the Old Town, the Main Square and see the Black Sea Riviera. You will also enjoy free time for relaxing walks in Constanta. Now it is time to head back to Bucharest, crossing the Danube again and the vasts plains of Baragan. Constanta city is the second highlight on our Danube Delta Tour from Bucharest.

We arrive in Bucharest in the evening, and drop you off at your hotel.
